At Cameron First Christian Church we support our community and world by participating in the following ministries – we invite everyone to join us in serving others!
- We support our local Food Pantry & Clothes Closet: Cameron Food Pantry and New Life Shoppe. FCC provides approximately 170 boxes of cereal per month to the Food Pantry
- We support our local nursing home residents in many ways throughout the year. A full worship service is offered at Quail Run Nursing Home in Cameron on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month at 2:00 PM (includes communion)
- Communion delivered to shut-ins and homebound
- Through the donations of generous individuals, FCC offers a Resource Center that includes free Bibles, devotionals, and other items to support spiritual growth for all ages (talk to Pastor Theresa for specific resource needs)
- We support the Shoebox Ministry of Operation Christmas Child
- Blanket Sundays for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Sponsor a blanket through Church World Services by donating $10 per blanket in honor or memory of a special person in your life (gifts are made out to FCC)
- Prayer Shawls made by CWF for the sick
- Back-Pack-Buddies Program (through Cameron Ministerial Alliance)
- Provide meeting space for community programs and local groups: WIC, Farmers Bank Travel Club, Girl Scouts, 4-H, Community Blood Center (Blood Drives), various training programs, and many fellowship events throughout the year
- Christmas Eve Holiday Baskets for Emergency Workers (Police & Fire Department, CRMC Hospital, and all local Nursing Homes)
