CWF (Christian Women’s Fellowship), also called Disciples Women, is open to women of all ages in our church–regardless of membership. A monthly CWF meeting is usually held on the 2nd Thursday at 10 AM in the FCC/Narthex. After the meeting, some women choose to enjoy a meal together at a local restaurant (optional). CWF/Disciples Women also participate in several mission and outreach projects:
- Mother’s Day: Sponsor “Blanket Sunday” – Church World Services (Give $10 to sponsor a blanket in honor or memory of a special woman in your life – Make gifts to FCC, we will mail them in together)
- Knit or Crochet Prayer Shawls for the Sick: We have donated yarn to share if you would like to make and donate prayer shawls
- Shoeboxes for “Operation Christmas Child” – The past few years we have collected funds only to help this ministry
- Fundraiser Soup luncheon to raise funds for shipping shoeboxes
- Support our Church’s Nursing Home Ministry: We currently provide a worship service at Quail Run Nursing Home in Cameron on the 1st & 3rd Sundays of the month at 2:00 PM (when not restricted because of COVID)
